Educational Tours

Educational Tours are tailored to provide a deep understanding of the people and history of Yucatan, Mexico, through archaeology, linguistics, and cultural history. Participants will be introduced to Mayan and Spanish architecture, art and language through direct experiences and special lectures and classes.

These tours are led by local academics and other appropriate professionals. We will be making various field trips around the peninsula such as visits to fishing villages, isolated beaches, and cenotes (underground swimming holes). Also, we will be visiting various art, anthropology, and historical museums as well as convents, old haciendas and a number of enigmatic archeological sites. You will be given a detailed Itinerary and price of our Educational Tours.

Lodging throughout the journey in the Yucatan Peninsula is in 3-4 star hotels. The charming rooms always include a private bathroom and a fan and/or air conditioning
